Grade 7 Class visits the Local Food Bank

The Grade 7 class at CEC toured the local Food Bank to learn about what it is they do. They are currently studying a unit that looks at making the world a better place and what individuals can do to make a difference in the world. Bev Ireland explained to the class how the food bank operates, who uses and what all they do.

For those looking to make donations, bins can be found at the area United Churches or the entry at the Dean Fraser Community Centre.
