Saskatchewan...It's Our Time!

Finally...the sun is shining and the snow is melting! What a beautiful day out there today, that unpredictable winter is hopefully behind us with an encouraging weather outlook. Last week I had the pleasure of listening to Paul Martin (the Saskatchewan business and political writer) at a presentation titled "Saskatchewan .... It's Our Time". What a pleasure it was. He delivered a positive message to those in attendance, something we all need to hear! He spoke to the growth and success that the province has seen over the past thirty six months and what he believes the future holds for us in terms of growth.

Paul also focused on the unlimited potential that we have right here at home in our own backyards, in rural Saskatchewan. Paul challenged many of us to think outside the box or shall I say “inside the box” for those of you in attendance! He challenged us to explore new ideas, to think of ways you can enhance or diversify your business with the products and services that you already offer. For those who have always had a dream to be your “own” boss or own your “own” business, what opportunity lies out there for that new business venture. The opportunity and ideas are limitless!

It was an insightful presentation that reminded us all that “Saskatchewan ... It’s Our Time”. Although there are tough economic times happening around us, those of which we are not immune to, Saskatchewan is poised to continue with our growth and with that we will continue to create opportunity for many.
