Service BEST Training Coming to Carnduff April 13th!

I am pleased to share that Carnduff has been selected to host an upcoming Service BEST training workshop on Tuesday, April 13th at the Carnduff Curling Rink.

Service BEST is an award-winning, internationally recognized workshop designed to assist frontline staff in the delivery of superior customer service. This entertaining and interactive workshop looks at the theory behind excellent customer service and provides useful tools to assist in making customers' experience positive and memorable. It also provides an easy-to-use strategy for service recovery when difficult situations occur.

Saskatchewan South East Tourism Association and Saskatchewan South East Enterprise Region are subsidizing this upcoming Service BEST workshop. All course materials and lunch is included for $60+GST - a savings of $50 per person! In addition, the Carnduff & District Business Organization (CDBO) will subsidize any CDBO member an additional $20 per person (to a maximum of 3 people per business).

Also, they offer a Service BEST Community program. Service BEST communities are cities and towns across Saskatchewan that have achieved 60% or greater frontline and management participation in the Service BEST program. If we achieve 60% of frontline staff participation, we will become a Service BEST Community (Redvers was the first community in the province to receive this status) Let's see if we can meet that challenge!

To take advantage of this offer please contact myself (Tara) at 482-3503 or email at carnduff.edo@sasktel.net and I will provide you with registration details!

So Just How is Oil Found and Produced?

Living in Southeast Saskatchewan we know all to well the implications of the oil and gas industry on our region. This industry continues to be one of our main economic drivers. I was recently forwarded an email link to the following website www.northernoil.com/drilling.php. The site has a brief 5 minute video explaining the process of drilling a horizontal well and putting it into production. It is from a U.S. based company so please keep that in mind, but for those of us who don't understand the complete process of drilling a well, this is very interesting! Enjoy!
