On May 29th at 7:00 p.m. the Heart & Stroke 30 seater Big Bike took to the roads of Carnduff! The team consisted of representatives from A&M Drive Inn, Anderson Enterprises, Avonmore Hotel, C.A. Shaw Insurance, Carnduff Agencies, Carnduff Carriage Works, Carnduff Co-op, Carnduff Education Complex. CDBO, Creative Cuts, Curves, Fast Trucking, From Heat to Toes, Nails by Jody, Prairie Winds Advertising & Sales, R.M. of Mount Pleasant, RCMP, Spectra Credit Union, Spencer’s Foods, Swayze Concrete Ltd, TK AgriService, and the Town of Carnduff as well as Diane Spencer and Michael/Jordan Wilmot.
The team raised an impressive $5691 and had a fantastic time biking the streets of Carnduff. Great work team! At press time the group ranked #3 on the Top Performers list for Big Bike Rides in Saskatchewan with approximately half the rides in the province completed.
Spectators & riders that evening were treated to a Hot Dog BBQ Fundraiser by the Carnduff Daycare PAC and the Carnduff Lions. Following the BBQ and Bike Ride, the Carnduff Ag Society, Carnduff Theatre and CDBO were host to a downtown street dance featuring “Product of Canada”. Aside from the coolness of the evening everyone in attendance had a great time listening and dancing to some excellent live music.
